For 55 years, The Eau Claire Academy has provided mental health care and housing for adolescents in the state who have needed it - and now, they are closing for good.
Chuck Anger, the academy's interim director shares with us about some of the systemic reasons behind this decision as well as what he feels will be the far-reaching ripple effects within our state due to the rising demand for youth mental health services.
He also shares one youth's perspective on what the public can do to help advocate within our communities to create better resources for the youth who so desperately need them within our area.
